Book smart to say nothing

Man reads book recommended to him by friend and has chosen to be silent on it as it was rubbish.

The book in question, Papal Instinct, was recommended by Hugh O’Donoghue to his mate Norman Bates.

Its not very good to be honest. Poorly written, poor spelling and a story that went nowhere. It’s up there with the worst I’ve read… or is that down with the worst I have read

Now Hugh has invited his friend over for a pint and Norman is concerned that the book will come up

I like the bloke, I want to go on beer, but the book is rubbish. He was mad keen to promote it. He must be a part owner of the printer because it was a tough tough read.

Caught between a rock and a hard place, Norman has decided to be book smart and say he hasn’t got round to it yet

I wont be lying. I just haven’t got round to wiping it off my brain forever it was that bad.
