Tonight in New york, Tom Russo and his wife sat down to watch a movie together in their ongoing “Movie Night” date night. Basically watching TV together for 90 mins.
The couple take it in turns to decide the films, Tom usually goes for cheesy action, like Die hard, his Wife Wren, goes for the thoughtful musical based
It was Wren’s turn and she chose the Piano. Tom was apprehensive at first but when he saw the first bit of nudity he was hooked.
It took a while to get going but when it did! I can see why it won an oscar.
Wren didn’t appreciate the nudity and immediately regretted her choice.
I mean its a piano. How sexual could it be? I thought. More fool me. I like movies with songs in them. I’m very musical myself, I can play up to level 3 keyboard.
Tom’s choice next week is made with a little nod to Wren’s misstep
I feel a bit sorry for wren. I wont go action films from the 80s/90s. I’ll go for something up her street with a musical background. I think the movie 9 songs should be good.
