A man from Idaho has launched a lawsuit against Forbes for discrimination of Age as a result of their annual list of 40 Under 40

John Cooke, 41, has launched the lawsuit as a result of him not been included or able to be included on the list.

For too long we have let this sit in plain sight. It is Ageist.

The list, which has been going since the mid 90s, is a list of individuals the publication considers to be the most influential young leaders for the year.

The main points needed are you are under 40 and successful.

The list exists mainly as an ego boost for the rich and famous. The REAL top 40 under 40 are not on the list as THEY hold the power

The lawsuit has come about after lasts years list, with John finding Umbridge with not being on it, again.

I was 40. It was the last chance. That time is gone now. I want the chance again to be on.

The magazine has offered to compromise and offer a 50 under 50 that he can be eligible for, but that was refused as it would be the same problem in 9 years.

This needs to be sorted now. It’s unfair. I’m unable to be on this list because of my age. My age and no money. But mostly my age.

John hopes that success in this case will give a boost to other cases he has, the height restrictions at theme parks and Weight restrictions on airplane luggage.
