Printing Money!

Man in London spends £100 to print off voucher worth £10

Clive Johnson today spent more money to print off a voucher than the voucher is worth

It started off as a good deal. I clicked on the website and it said I needed to print off the voucher to claim £10 off a pair of Sunglasses. I need them for my holiday

Clive was then hit with the stark Reality

I don’t have a printer, I mean who has a printer nowadays its all done by apps and the like

So Clive went into his local town Tilbury to see if he could get the page voucher printed off. The journey costs £5 return on the bus

I got to the town, its nothing special few shops, garage and pub. I went into the first shop and they said they didn’t do printing. Maybe the pub would have it

Unfortunately, the pub didn’t have it but Clive had 2 pints for a £10 to be sure

When in Rome, rude not to have a pint

He was luckier in the 2nd store

So I went to the 2nd store and its a sort of consumer electronics, I mean if anyone has a printer it is them. They have one! was delighted, but I had to buy the whole thing. £45!

But that wasn’t all

Just about to leave, and the shop assistant calls back to me, do you have ink for it. Of course I didn’t have the ink. Black ink £25. Reluctantly I had to pay it, as no way back now. In for a penny and all that

But his journey to printing hadn’t run its course

And the shop assistant goes, what type of computer you running it off. I said I have a laptop. He goes Ill need a special chord for that, £10 please. I nearly cried. Over £100 spent. I suppose I have it for the future of printing.

Clive went home, printed the Voucher, went to the shop and bought himself the sunglasses that he promptly lost on the plane over to Spain.
