Ever scroll through your tv streaming service or channel guide and can’t decide which series to start?

Well, Scientists have finally calculated that there is now too many good shows to watch.

In a landmark new study, researchers have formally calculated that there are now TOO MANY GOOD SHOWS TO WATCH.

The fresh status report from fresh tomatoes reveals the “Certified Fresh” count has hit a staggering 153,000 hours of unique series to watch, classics include “24, “One day at a time” and “What we do in the shadows”.

When cross-referenced with the Average Waking Hour of the typical human adult and factoring in basic survival (eating, working, pretending to socialize), the science is grim.

The Math of Our Cultural Doom:

The new, official scientific constant is the “Time Deficit Coefficient”

The average person has about 17.5 years of free time in their lifetime after accounting for sleep, work, and other obligations. This translates to roughly 153,000 hours of free time, depending on individual circumstances and lifestyle choices

Result:

In layman’s terms: You may have to start watching at 1.25 speed.

Faced with these results one scientist came to this summary

It puts the last season of Game of thrones into perspective. I’ll never get that time back.
