It was a case of some ‘Shelf’ish behavior as Planker was so rigid, she was mistaken for a shelf.
Annabelle Sorin, Boston USA, was attempting to beat the world planking record set recently by a 62-year-old former US Marine has broken with a time of eight hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds.
And SHE did, but in the most strange way.
She had just started 20 seconds when her husband came in and decided to put up the shelves.
“I just zoned out. Completely focused on beating, I like left my body, you know”
Her husband then attached her to the wall, drilled her in and put some trophies on her
“I did think It felt I was flying, but when you are in the zone you are in the zone. After 8 hours, the alarm went off and I snapped out of the daze, and I’m suspended halfway up the wall with some trophies on my back”
Her husband, Ivan, apologised for the mix up
“She had been nagging me to do the shelf to put up all her planking medals. I just went into the room and was measuring up, didn’t look at what I was doing and put her up into the wall”
Annabelle failed in her attempt for the record, as 8 hours, 20minutes of it she was attached to a wall with trophies put on her.
“Its a shame to lose the record attempt, but I will try again, perhaps this time without the help of my husband”
